Who's going to Burghley ??

I am getting dead excited now. less than 2 weeks to go

I am starting a shopping list and so far I 'need'

half chaps
riding boots
Dubarry boots

Jods

and I'm sure that I will 'need' a lot more by the time I get there. I have any empty credit card

and I'm ready to shop

I am having a bit of a dilemma over what to wear. Its my first time to Burghley, we have the vip tickets so apparently dress should be smart according to the website

HELP what do I wear?? I have no idea what to wear on my feet (Dubarry boots hopefully on Saturday and Sunday!) and don't want to look a numpty by under or over dressing.

Do you normally meet up for a drink at all??

Can't wait, we are getting there on Friday and staying until Sunday

Although says smart jeans are apparently acceptable so me and Sarah are going to 'sloane' it up

But no durbarry boots for us though I do have leather barbour wellies......

only reason I got them was because they were cheap (clearance stock 2 years ago but still going strong with daily use and no care!!!

)

And yep intend wellies (given current weather) jeans and a polo shirt of some description think that should leave me looking suitably 'sloane like' to fit in nicely LOL

I reckon that we'll be wearing the same, just need to sort the footwear out now and a jacket of course in case it rains.....hhhmmmm most my comfy shoes/boots are my muckers

There every day but on XC Course crossing duty - do it every year and for 2-3hrs work on the sat you get a full 4 day pass and car pass for free!

Not shopping though as I'm skint!

There on Friday doing BYEH final on Ross. Might have to go again on Sunday to do a bit of retail therapy as a half day just won't be enough.
