Sorry if this has been done to death or should be somewhere else - I'm new.

Was curious to see what everyone thought about this. For me, Pessoa is king - he's so floppy and gentle but completely secure and in balance and he's not fazed when his horses play up. Also like Ben Maher for his super-upright position, especially in landing. Ben Maher's heroes are the Germans - mainly the Beerbaums - "for an impeccable style" but I'm really not convinced. I swear they're heavy with their hands and their lower leg is always in a bizarre place. Like Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, who had that weird fall because she put too much weight on her horse's neck and went flying when he turned sharply.

What does everyone think? Personal jumping heroes?

Definitely John Whitaker, such a quiet rider and can make the approach to a 6'+ (sorry old school, can't get the hang of this metric malarchy!) fence look like he is approaching a 2' fence instead.
