Who's hacking on the road at 7.45pm? England match!

Just thinking what a perfect opportunity it will be for hacking out this evening. England playing Italy in the quarter final, kick off 7.45pm.

Will be avoiding pubs with big screens, but otherwise expecting quiet roads! yay!

Luckily my boy can cope with the car flags....and hopefully any cars with flags with be on driveways or in the pub watching....just hope we dont win, then there wont be the mad celebrations with horns etc after.

I am slightly bah humbug about the footie..can you tell?!!!
 
I went show jumping last tuesday when England were playing and it paid off... nice quiet roads and quiet atmoshpere resulted in the bogmonster winning both classes :D
 
We drove back from Hickstead a couple of years ago when England united were playing Germany city in the world cup or something. It was a Sunday afternoon, M25 and M1 and hardly a car on the road :D
 
It has taken me almost 50 years to appreciate football, all those grown men running round a field (what a waste of a field) But even I can appreciate that these big tournaments do have their uses, lovely quite roads, distinct lack of our local boy racers and the perfect opportunity for de spooking with flappy things!!
