I put mine out in medium weights as it was so cold this morning. But mum has just taken them off as they were hot.

So they are naked!!

my girl has been out naked all week during the day. I felt horrible this morning though when I went down to see her and take her m/w off that she had on last night and there was frost on her back

she was a tad chilly but not too bad.

I shouldn't think they will be cold today its going to be 18c

Amy's always naked.

How lovely for them to have some sun on their backs today - and a good old wriggle in the mud

It's a beautiful day - they will absolutely fine.

Not yet, she's on box rest at the mo and has a fleece on but my friend is doing her at lunch so should be taking it off. Then she'll be out in her pen this afternoon naked! Poor thing needs a chance to have a good roll though. Most of ours have either lightweight turnouts on, or 40g Fals. 'tis getting hot here now though!

The clipped out horses will still have their rugs removed at middday at my place - so don't worry.

all the horses at my yard are naked in the day at the moment even the 30-40 year olds! so I dont think you have much to worry about

It was -1 at my yard this morning, so my clipped out horse went out in a lightweight and fleece. That got removed at 9.30 ish and he is now naked (except for flymask and boots). The midges are lethal at the moment where I am.

Lol ditto - star still has her slumberdown middle weight rug on with neck!! TBH she's not bakeing in that so will keep it on

We get a nice cool breeze over our fields so keeps her just right

Blossy is in her stable today, has her HW mark todd rug on without the neck bit. Her stable dosent get any sunlight, and she wont be hot when i get down there.

Archie is out in his field, it was -1 when i turned him out this morning at 6am, so hes in his MW with hood and a thin under rug. There is a cold wind here today tho, and hes on a hill so im not worried about him being hot either. Hes quite a cold horse also.

Just got a text from my YO to say Sid's hoolying around the field with his mate from the stable next door - Naked! Brought a big gring to my face....he loves to roll so it's great to know he can have a good old scratch....

Hopefully he bruns off all his excess energy & will be a saint when I ride him later!

It was -1 when I put mine out too at about 6.15am so thats why I put their MW's on. But mum assures me when she went up to the field they were hot so rugs came off!!

It is 18 here today though and is sposed to stay like this all day, will be getting them in about 5.30 ish

Mine was out naked yesterday

she must have really enjoyed herself too as she was rather dusty! Has done a good job though has got rid of her Winter coat AT LAST - no more patchyness.

I am sure they will graze by the hedge if the wind is too chilly!

two unclipped horses are naked, my fully clipped mare has a lightweight on and my fully clipped gelding in in a fly rug with fly fringe as the midges really bother him.

major stayed out last night hooorrraaayyyy and worse a MW turnout but think he is in his stable ATM so probably naked before people come to try him!

My two have their mark todd rugs on with no necks, not worried about the boy as he never seems to get too hot, T might be a bit warm tho. OH's mare has lightweight shell on, but there is always a stiff breeze up at ours so sure they'll be ok! Not much I can do about it anyway TBH....
(can you tell I'm trying to convince myself not to worry!!
