Probably could sleep if I put my mind to it but have been waiting for the oh to get in from work - he was supposed to be home at just gone ten - bloody men and bloody hotels!
Me - I'm at my most active in the hours of darkness and come on here when there's nobody left to talk to.
Usually go up to the field with hay and carrots for the neds at about 11.30 - have a bit of a smooch with the horses and let the dogs have their pee before we all bed down. If its a clear night I look up at the sky to see if any aliens are coming to abduct me - they'd be very welcome to study whats left of my brain.
Have you started looking yet? I was kind of trailling a horse at my yard for a week - he's a stunning irish TB but has been out of work for a year (due to owners preganancy) so me, being an idiot, took him to epsom downs when he'd onlyhacked out 4 times
he didn't do anything too naughty but we unnerved ourselves.
I thought that was it but I can't help thinking that he could be the one.....he jumps well and is a bomb proof hack.....
Well, the horse I have been riding for a year might be coming up for sale at the end of the summer. Unfortunately i've moved and had to stop riding him but I'm not convinced his owner will commit to actually selling him.
It's tough as I love him, but I'm not sure we will end up together.
So, I'm bored out of my head and want a horse to do something with. I'm going to look at some 2yo IDs tomorrow, as I've always wanted to start a youngster and always wanted to have an ID. I can't keep waiting forever on the chance that I might get Mick, but come September if I'm still horseless I will be a very cross person!
