i would have a go at tht (real solid cross country fences scare me!!!)

was stunned at the speed some of the PC kiddies were taking there ponies round the course :O

Yes I have....well, they weren't allowed to call it jumpcross as not affiliated with them but my local PC do one each year...open to RC as well. They use the same style jumps. Absolutely brilliant fun. Some of the fillers are solid but poles above. Gives you an experience more like XC than SJ without the risk of solid fences and the courses generally aren't quite as long. I do XC as well....if you fancy a go look out for hunter paces....XC courses flagged wide where you jump what you want.

Oooh, I really want to try it! Getting ahead of myself a bit since I haven't even learned to jump yet, but I've always wanted to try XC but thought I'd be too scared... so Jumpcross* sounds perfect! Once I can jump, of course.

*Thank god for the preview function... I nearly invented an interesting new sport called Humpcross...!

i went with saf and loved it. im a complete wuss about cross country fences so we only showjump. it was a good change and day out for both of us. its nice to learn how to jump on the way up or down hills as that was completely alien to me. went to grange farm and the instructor was fantastic. brilliant day for both of us.

My sister loves it and is becoming a regular at our local one! She's a bit of an addict and is talking about giving up regular showjumping so she can afford to do more of it.
