WHO'S WISHING THEY WERE AT BADMINTON???

Hi unfortunatly i have not been able to get up to Badminton this year as we have just been to busy with the horses! with my 14.2 show hunter gone lame, schooling my 13.2 show pony for the shows coming up, just bringing on my little 11.2 m&m. I'm watching it on the telly and just wishing i could be there! Any one else in my situation????? poor poor us LOL

Cannot imagine anything worse. Friday is the besy day to go!
 
This is probably the first time in nearly 25 years that I haven't been there!

(Obviously except the times it was cancelled!!)

It feels wierd not being there, but enjoying the coverage on line!!

Looks like I'll only get one horse ridden today once this has finishe!!
 
We went last year, but I have to say I prefer watching it from the comfort of the sofa. No long drive, no walking miles, you see more & don't have to queue for the loos.

And now I can ride my horse instead of having a drive home of several hours.
 
I agree with others, I went to Burghley in September and apart from the shopping which was mayhem anyway, prefer watching from home I find the atmosphere of 2 and 3 * s such as Barbury and Thirlestane (unfortunately no more) far nicer.
