Popped down to my boys this evening, were both galloping around, saw me flashing the torch, came speeding over for their nightly pear! Feel rather guilty! Both stood there, jumping at their own shadows! It is windy and is peeing it down out there! Watched me walking off until I got into the garden and out of sight! Moving them into my timber stables, now its got a new roof, but need to move their matting over and the electric's gone, so also waiting for the sparky to come and fix next week! Can bring them into their old stables (with matting) but the sparky's also meant to be coming out to rewire the whole block! Seems pointless though to bring them in onto new beds, to have to move the whole lot in a weeks time! It's not me being disorganised, it's a case of the landlord wanting lots of quotes and the electrician needing to pull his finger out! I'v only been pestering now for 10 months!!!
I do feel bad for them though, know they're ready to come in now. Although I keep telling myself, they're horses, they'll be okay! Although after my tb's recent accident to his face, I'm quite anxious about it! So, anyone else's horses still out at night, that aren't normally out all year?
