I was just going back to break the ice on the water tub this morning and found that Rosie had managed to remove the whole disk of ice , 2 inches thick and diamater of 2ft. It was lying beside the tub and was completely unbroken!

Luckily her nose was unbroken too.

Have you got any clever horses out there???!!!
 
What a clever girl! My pony completely opened my jacket yesterday, he fiddled with the velcro with his nose until it opened then grabbed hold of the zip and pulled it right down! Too clever for his own good

Mine has learnt in a matter of weeks how to open the top bolt on her door, and likes to show off constantly by doing this and pushing said door open and standing there looking at her handy work!!

She gets very cross when we clip the leadrope on her bolt to stop her doing this.
 
Mine, who is the worlds biggest scaredy cat, can lift the lid off the galvanised feed bin and having dropped it loudly on the ground, get stuck into the chicken feed. He doesn't even finch, but is literally afraid of his own shadow at times (fun on summer evenings with the sun behind us!)

A friend had a small TB mare who would undo electric fencing gates. She had learnt that her muzzle was small enough to grab hold of the plastic handle without touching the tape. No way would mine do that!
 
One of my TBs can operate the automatic chicken feeder by pressing the lever with his nose! He's pretty crafty and will roll under the electric fencing if the grazing is better on the other side!
