Whose XC Clinic? Advice please

Had a really helpful XC clinic with Clissy Bleekman at the begining of last season and am planning on doing another one or possibley two before next season.

I'm spoilt for choice as Nick Gauntlett, Caroling Creighton, Lucy Wiegersma, Jeanette Brakewell, Mary King, and Lucinda Green are all giving clinics in my area.

So does anyone have any advice as to who might suit me best. We did a couple of intros last season, no jumping faults XC but slow which is my fault as am too cautious. Hoping to do a couple of intros this season then move up to PN.

Any ideas/advice gratefully received!

Yes, just in Cornwall so Pontispool, St Lovell and Bicton all within reasonable distance.

i was hoping to go to the jeanette brakewell one at SLM

were in somerset but near the somerset/wilts borders so slm and pontispool arent overly far

I watched a Lucinda Green clinic at LD last year and thought she was brilliant so she would get my vote. Out of interest how do you find out who's doing clinics near you? would be interested in doing a couple

I would go for Caroline Creighton ever time she is my regular trainer and is fantastic.

Yeah, I've only seen LG on dvd but she looked fantastic and I think she is also very helpful to people at the bottom of the ladder.

Best ways I've found to find clinics is to either go on websites of Eq centres near you or check the website of your chosen instructor as they often say where they are teaching.

I'll be moving to Stoke-on-trent after christmas, so I've absolutely no idea about anything there! :O

There is a William Fox Pitt one at Rosamund Green Farm coming up as well.

I am tempted by the Nick Gauntlett clinic as I have seen such massive improvements in his pupils. I have also seen him be extremely helpful to people at events and he is often at the same comps as me and someone with occassional helpful advice would be a godsend.

Vallin, just in case you didn't know Jeanette Brakewell lives just outside Stoke On Trent with Brook Staples who both do lessons and I know Brook Staples does clinics at Eland Lodge which isn't too far away.

Another vote for Caroline Creighton, very good trainer for all levels of experience.

janette also does clinics at somerford park which is in cheshire so not too far from eland lodge. other trainers go to somerford too....laura fortune is really good, i like her a lot

Have you seen Nick's website - www.gauntlett.me.uk? He seems to be doing loads of teaching and clinic's - didn't even know Bicton was running them!
I went to Pontispool last year - thought he was brill and learnt loads!
