Being relatively new to the showing game (have done low level stuff), would appreciate suggestions as to what to do with Cariad. She's Section C (D x C) and I'm thinking WHP but would love to know how difficult it is to go beyond local level and is she suitable ? We have plenty of time, she's 4 next year and will be developed over a number of years.
Here she is as a 3 year old.

WHP classes run by the NPS and other organisations are easy enough to get started in, they have classes at different levels from novice upwards. They are either divided by height of pony or by breed and the courses at novice level are fairly straightforward so well worth having a go.
Your pony looks as if it will enjoy the jumping and that is a good start.
It is difficult to see her conformation from those photos but if she is fairly correct that should be fine, you will need to tidy her mane, they dont get shown totally naturally so check the rule books.
The best thing to do is to go and watch a few shows and you can see what you need to be aiming for.
