Hey everyone- just a quick question, my pony and I are doing a whp class (local) this weekend- just wondering whether I need to quarter mark him or if that is incorrect for hunters? (He will be plaited.
Also, with regards to bits, would a judge prefer to see them in a snaffle or a double? Seeing as this is an open class, any bit is allowed I assume?
Any help kindly appreciated! :D

I used to do quite a lot showing in WHP & I didn't do quarter marks, I don't think it's common practice, I've never seen it out hunting either so I wouldn't bother.
I used to show in a snaffle bit with a cavason nose band & a martingale.
I used to win & get placed at local level quite a lot, so the judges must have been happy with this.
