Very true. A friend of mine recently (well, about 6 months ago now) sold a 14hh 12 year old Irish cob of unknown breeding, never been anywhere or done anything apart from hack round the New Forest for £4k (I nearly fell over) but, like you say, "a dope on a rope" is always popular
