Why are horsey people...................

Lovely wee guy and well done!

Nevermind about these *****, same things happend with me with people I thought were my friend! They new I'd been to a show came back with a grin on my face when we did really well and everyone else on the yard said well done ecept them that didnt say a peep! Different though at the time when pony was having an off day and I had to pull him out and cut the day short, they were full of 'good advice' needless to say i told them it was a lot of crap!

not reading all bar first page of comments as i wanted to say well done to your rider and wow hun well done to you what a beautiful beautiful horse and i so hope you are proud - ignore the comments( or lack of them) he is a credit to you so get your head held high and enjoy your gorgeous horse - well done to you all mmmmmm such a lovley post to read in many ways xxxxxx

One thing my husband always says is that horse people are rude! And they always think they are right and know everything! I must say for a huge percentage this is true! Luckily there is a small minority of us who can act like a normal kind human being :)!

He is goregous btw! I just love his markings so striking! Only hope I can get my boy to have his White patches that White when he goes for his first show in a couple of weeks :D

Experience this all the time with people who I see at shows and who drone on about their horse and never ever acknowledge what me or my children have achieved. Even close friends who put on boring videos of their kid riding but if shown a pic of my kid riding really well just say isn't she getting too big for it!!!

Its JEALOUSY pure and simple.

As others have said you can only rise above it cos you will never change it.

It's a shame but not just the horsey world but all walks of life, rise above them simply a stunning horse loving the tail, well done and good luck for the future

aww he's lovely well done Markie :D

i wouldnt worry about them, obviously jealous! When rosettes appear on stable doors at our yard i always say well done and ask where they got them etc.....well i had my 1st time out jumping a wee while back and got a 2nd :D no one asked me where i had been or or said well done and i didnt really tell anyone that we had been out as i didnt want any bitchy responses as i knew there would be ;)

Your horse is gorgous!!! well done and ignore all those jealous lot! i get the same at my yard... 1 person in particular is a riding instructor and has spent all year trying to get just a clear round on her horse shes owned for years so you can imagine the green eyed monster she turned into when i recently bought a new tbx 5yo project that attended her 1st ever show on sunday and won the showjumping event! :-)
