Why are some people just so horrible?

I would leave things be, if you tell her how bomb proof your horse is becoming she may up the game. Be nice, civil and don't retaliate. Quite like the idea about inviting her around for shared lessons etc, be sooo nice, she'll get bored eventually.

A needs to work through this and use all the commotion as a training exercise. If she gets wound up so will the horse. It's not a problem if you know how to deal with it.

I wouldn't say anything. Just do it. No need for approval or gloating. The results will speak for themselves. Antagonising a person like this never works. Keep head down and kick on. At some point she will get bored and life will get in the way. No point in being nice either. Had my head handed to me on a platter over the weekend when in actual fact if this vile woman bothered to get the whole story she would have realised I was actually the only person who had her back. Again just proving my point most people are useless and I'm best off with animals. They feed on any chance they can get to be horrible vile creatures. Never give them the satisfaction.

Could A maybe pop in a pair of headphones?
She doesn't even have to listen to anything - just the fact that she appears to not be bothered by B may do the trick.

Some people are really strange...

Ok ask neighbours round couple of bottles of wine and get on. sometimes we all neeed to think lets just get on and wine always helps. lifes short letss all enjoy :)

They seem to be morons and not the sort of people one wants to let in to ones company, as they suck you dry and then use any information against you.
I agree with ignoring it and avoiding it.

B got new horse and even she admits she's over horsed herself. A has made an effort and kept out her B's way when she's riding to minimise distractions and possible spooking of B's horse as B has been thrown off a few times with big spooks.

I think "A" should go ahead and ride when "B" is riding. ;)
