grey connemaras?

Hoping to get my daughter a 14.2 pony next year for PC and SJ (local level and unaffiliated).

So I've been browsing all the usual sites to see what's around and how much they cost.

So why are all the suitable ones grey connemaras? I don't mind having a connemara but I don't really want grey?

Perhaps I will have to re-spray one?

What's wrong with a grey one? Given they are tough to clean but they look fantastic when all cleaned up....

Because they are the best!

lol I'm probably biased as I used to have a wonderful 13.2 grey connemara

Even in the minds of some idiotic judges (and I quote) "A bay has no place in a connemara class" - uh, hello, when the hell was the last time you read the breed standard then, buster?!

Grey Connemaras are fashionable right now - just like coloureds were in vogue last year

Oh..and they can come in all sorts of colours "Grey, black, Bay, Brown, Dun with occasional Roan & Chestnut, Palamino, & Dark Eyed Cream."

aww my grey connie was the best pony EVER
i loved her! true she was tough to clean and always a yellowish tail...

Got a 14.1 dapple grey connemara x myself, constantly has poo his head, dont know why he insists on lying in it!

I've got a reg palomino connie!
I'll check out his breeding papers and try and get you a phone number.
A friend of mine has started breeding connies and has produced some fabulous dun colts this year!
