An opinion and peoples thoughts on something if all your going to do is get uptight about it and get defensive??

Why not just keep your own counsel and not upset yourself??

Its one of the few things that annoy me truly about forums:mad:

Ok rant over what are peoples views on this??? Same as mine or in the opposite direction???

:D

Totally agree. It's one thing if people simply argue against the advice given rather than advice given patrionisingly.

I find a lot of people can't take advice or simply want people to agree with them.

Its when some come on here saying 'I have done.....' Do you think I did the right thing? And if you say yes you did the right thing you are their best friend, but if you say no, sorry, I wouldnt of done it that way, then they get defensive! Surely, by asking, did I do the right thing, they are having doubts anyway!

ETS. sorry, not sure that has made sense!

Not sure I quite agree tbh. (But please don't get defensive! lol) People dont usually delibeately set themselves up for criticism so if they ask if they have done the right thing it's because they think they have & are looking for praise.
Reverse psychology?

T'annoys me too. Shame isn't it? I think people are often on the verge of admitting they're wrong, or they wouldn't ask, but they aren't quite there  Some, I feel, are downright attention seeking :o

But, on the flip side of that, they could be looking for someone to justify what they have done, cos they think their choice might possibly wrong?
