when a bit of scrubby, old, tough gorse goes down a treat?
Took the pony for a walk on the forest today. I think she went "back to her roots".
She couldn't get enough of the gorse (not even the new shoots bit which I know they eat) but the gnarled old stuff. It was funny watching her carefully get a clump in her teeth and transfer it into her mouth for chewing up without getting her lips hurt.
Gave us a look as if to say "what you looking at, this here is good eating"
