I was really excited at the weekend as I have finally got a 4wd, I have gone halves with a friend on it so we can at last get out this summer and do a few shows etc. I could hardly wipe the grin off my face, I said to a livery who has her horse next to mine that I was so excited and on cloud nine! She took one look at it and said in a sarcastic way, "well it would probably pull one horse and a lightweight trailer"

Miserable cow - she sounds green to the gills with envy if you ask me. Good for you for getting transport sorted, hope you have a great summer out and about.

Ignore the green faced cow

As otheres have said she is just jealous.

Have fun getting out and about with it and don't forget to tell us all about your adventures

Im sure that you and your friend researched what the vehicle could and couldnt tow before you bought it...... so just ignore the silly moo and hold your head high knowing that you and your friend are going to be out and about and taking your horses wherever you want to go!!!

How wonderful to have wheels that can take you both places with your equine buddies!

WE are all happy for you even if the miserable moo as Spyda put it isnt!!

She'll probably be asking you for a lift in your trailer before the end of the season, i'm sure you'll take great pride in telling her sorry it will only pull one!

Can totally sympathise - I have the mother of all green eyed monsters where I keep my horses. By a sheer fluke of luck I have a new (well to me!) 4x4 and a new horse coming at the w/end (I know I am trying to kickstart the economy single-handed). I am over the moon and I have not received even a word of aknowledgement let alone congratulations!!!

Take no notice, there is no need to be like that is there.

So long as the 4x4 is ok to pull the trailer you have safely with what ever weight it will be one your horses are in and your legal, then you can carry on being a giddy kipper!

Hope you have lots of great outings.

What the others said - bollix to her and her green eyed monster!! We are all happy for you - and I admit I'm jealous (hopefully getting car and trailer sorted this year) but you enjoy yourselves. Personally I would spend a lot of time within her earshot planning trips with your horses......!!
