Every time I look at it there's an error. Usually it's showing zero points and still is, but yet they have now duplicated everything so there are double the results that there should be. It seems that BE and BS can get it right do not sure what's up with BD ??

Lol its just their rubbish website. It'll be correct on the database. Every time someone queries this with BD they say the new website will fix it... God knows how many MORE years we have to wait before it'll be ready though

It amazes me that BD is allowed to have such a bad website, people would be very annoyed if BE did not have results up the night you competed at an event. I really love BE results pages!!

I have found BD very helpful in making corrections when I've rung them. One issue is that at least one of our local venues seems to take weeks to send in results after a show.

I agree, the BE process end to end looks far more efficient and satisfactory.

I know our local venues send results straight in, but it still takes weeks for BD to upload them. There are a huge number of competitions almost every day (far more than BE) and there aren't many full time employees at BD so I can understand why, but it's frustrating.

What annoys me is when there is unnecessary double-work. A friend of mine bought a horse, did the change of ownership with BD but they put the horse's old owner as her rider after their first competition together. Friend called BD to get it changed and they told her it happens every time a horse changes owner! Surely if someone does a change of ownership form the database should be changed? And how do they cope if a horse has multiple riders, don't they check the entry details?!

I'd love to go in there and do some process improvement work!! ;)

I suspect one issue is random and varied entry methods. If there were a single online entry system, that would deal with the spelling errors in names and mistyped membership numbers that seem to affect BD, and would surely enable the correct horse/rider combinations to be recorded.

This happens because BD put there money into re doing the competition levels to bronze/ silver/ gold. Instead of making a centralised entry system!! Hopefully it is the next thing on there list to do, other option is they tell all competition ventures to use the same system, eg riding diary.

My record is different to my horses, all the comps are recorded and I only ride/compete him yet he has the correct points and I don't *shakes head* Nevermind at least one of us is correct and I have a calculator lol!

I have sent them emails about mistakes and am waiting to see if they make any changes! My last result was 60.86% but on their results it shows as 55.45%! We are bad enough without them making us look 5% worse!

BS didn't used to get it right when I was last a member (albeit 3 years or so ago now). I remember a few times that my results never did appear on my horses record (usually high placings too). At one point I was sent a threatening letter telling me I was being fined because Id jumped in a class I wasn't eligible for! I didn't even jump on that day... had to argue it out with them and they wiped it in the end but quite what on earth happened there I'll never know! Dont do BD so cant say anything about that, the only lot who are brilliant for accurate (and quick!) results appearing is BE, their system I find pretty faultless.

I had a problem in June and was told it was an IT issue. Now it's wrong again and I'm told again that it's an IT issue. I know they are busy, but I'm a paying customer so really would like them to be able to keep up to date and accurate records. If i had people's information wrong in my job I would have some explaining to do. Come on BD, prove me wrong and sort this out once and for all

Well to their credit I have just received an email showing my amended results that they say will be on the web site in 48hrs. I emailed them copies of my sheets so they could see the marks! Well done BD. I have no idea how the mistakes happened though!

Not BD, but at an unaffiliated dressage competition, my score went up on the website significantly lower than the score on my sheet. It turned out the secretary had got distracted when transferring the scores onto her list, had taken my collective mark, stuck on a % symbol and written that down as my score! I got all excited about getting a higher place, but sadly she'd done the same to the person above me, so the placings stayed the same.

Spoke too soon, mine is now correct!
