Why cant we all just get on?

But hang on, Pedantic wasn't rude to anyone here on this thread. In any case personally I don't think it's worth being bothered, it is just the way Pedantic phrases things and I never view it as being personal, which is what tends to bother me.

I must admit I do think it is a bit off saying someone cannot ride when you have never seen them ride, but that is just my opinion.

I think it's best to try and let these things go, it can get a bit heated on here sometimes but generally I think it's heat of the moment stuff rather than anything more sinister.
 
Benson, I agree.

A few times I've been on the wrong end of somebody's keyboard - simply because they have anonymity and a screen to hide behind.
I would hate to think that this person speaks to others like that in real life.

But this is my point exactly! What is the point of being so rude and nasty? You say that there are bullies on here, and yes I agree, but cant you see that by putting statements like that, could be construde as a form of bullying itself!!!!!

I never undestand the people who get so het up over others not agreeing.

In "real life" there are the types of people who I think are a good laugh, there are those I think are a bit unhinged, there are those I just don't like as we are too different and people I find downright vile.

Why would that all stop on a forum? Does everyone take some sort of personality suppressant before they come on?

:rolleyes: Why can't people disagree or argue? I argue with people all the time, doesn't mean I'm a psycho bitch. ;)
 
Dont get me wrong, I am all for a discussion, its when it starts get personel that I find un necessary. Like I said before, the world would be very boring if we all agreed, but would be so much nicer if we could just be polite.
 
It's very odd, there are some mentallers on here. Present company excepted of course! *starts to sweat*

I made a post on the hunting forum recently just to say that there were good and bad in both camps and OMG I metaphorically had the entire forum tearing my throat out! Jeebus.

hear hear! But then rudeness is now endemic in our society, from road rage to queue jumping, so why should horsey people be any different I suppose. Its funny, we don't tolerate rudeness from our horses yet we seem to accept it from people.
