Why cant we find a pony....

based N.E England so bit of a hike but is genuinely one in a million only for sale as my O.H is nagging about 'collecting ponies'! He must go to super home where we can keep in touch though

Think Kent is prob too far for you but if you did follow up on any of these ads and go to Sales Livery go with eyes wide open, IMO not a private advertiser but a dealer, went to look for a pony for my daughter and then coincidently with a friend who had seen a pony advertised several months later! Neither pony was suitable and did things that the ads did not mention!
 
It is really hard to find a horse when you are narrowing it down so drastically, its a shame they can't widen it a bit like maybe look for mares aswell as geldings as there are some really nice mares around. But as you say they are really hard to find as if a pony is that good people aren't going to be as willing to sell them unless a child has outgrown it and if they are such good jumping ponies then they are really going to have to widen there budget a bit.
