Im just back from a horrible drive to manchester airport.
The motorway is down to 30mph as its half flooded and you can just about see the end of your bonnet!!
I was happy for a little bit but everywhere is now flooded round here and my poor horse is piddled at me for putting him in the field!!

because my grass was yellow and not growing an inch, and because i hadnt cantered for weeks because of the hard ground...

im happy for it to rain a bit longer too :D

Can i send our flooded roads your way then? Lol we have a hose pipe ban at the moment i think that may be lifted after today.
We have had rain for about 4 days running maybe more now is getting rather boring :(

I wish you could send it all down south for us. In Cambs where I am our fields are so dry big cracks are starting to open up in the ground and all the grass is beginning to shrivel. Its a real worry as we can't see the grazing recovering in the resting fields for the horses to go on in the winter. :-(

OK changed my mind

just had a message, if it keeps on there will be no XC schooling this weekend...now it needs to stop :D

Hes a picture from my house. Your can usually se all the fields and the farm from my window

We had no rain for over 3 weeks(and a hosepipe ban), then we have had over 2 weeks of heavy rain everyday and now there is floods, wrecked hay etc.

yep we still need rain, had a little bit, so some grass is growing, but not enough. Still got a hosepipe ban in place.
