So once again I have not learned my lesson and gone back to eBay after telling myself I would never buy/ sell anything ever again!!

Bought a weymouth and french bridoon for a decent price on 5th June and then my birdbrain completely forgot I'd bought them and never received anything. So on 17th June I emailed inquiring where they were and got this reply 10 minutes later:

'Hi I am so sorry I really thought I had sent these off but came across them when moving house and could not find order details as to where to send them as I have had no Internet at home. Please give me your address and I will sort this as soon as I can.
Please accept my sincere apologies as I have been quite upside down
Thanks *****'

Fair enough if she had no internet but she clearly has internet now as she's EMAILED me back so my address would be on her eBay account?! Replied with my address, got no reply. Emailed again yesterday, still got no reply. She only has 20 quid of my money but it's still annoying she won't send them

Very depressing when you come across people like this, but take heart. Most ebayers (most people!) are good and honest.

just so annoying! My last 2 eBay experiences have just made me despair.

Arghhh thats annoying. Just open a dispute and get your money back. Ebay are pretty good at that

Okay, do you definitely think it's gone on long enough? Thought her excuse seemed plausible until she said she had no internet (?!)

She said she had no internet at home, maybe she used someone else computer when she sent the message? I'd give her a few more days, if she can only get on the internet at certain times then maybe she hasn't seen your message yet.

Be careful that you dont go over the time limit for opening a dispute, while you are being nice and giving her time to sort out her internet or whatever excuse. (Really? She couldn't get online from *anywhere* else to get onto her ebay account for your details?).
Some dodgy sellers will try to drag things out as long as they can so before you know it you are too late to open a dispute and get your money back.

I'd flag it up now.

I know - I keep going back too, but try to be ultra careful. Often look elsewhere these days as eBay are not often good prices now.

Hey, I won a pram off eBay on Monday, but after emailing the seller everyday I still haven't had any contact. I haven't paid yet as the listing says cash on collection, but I'm unable to arrange collection as she won't reply lol!
Just wondering if anyone knows how long I should wait before reporting to eBay? Part of me thinks she's a bit miffed that I was the only bidder so won it at her starting bid when its in new condition and rrps at £600, she does have to sell it to me even though it didn't sell for much, right?
Sorry for the long post and hijacking the thread :S

You could request her details , she should of changed them with Ebay , so you'd have her phone number and new address . Speak to Ebay customer services and see what they suggest .
