Plus LOADS of people complain about racing generally.
Digressing slightly, isn't it the norm for professionals to produce horses as young as possible to show what they 'can do'? Generally on the understanding (or perhaps just MY understanding) that they should be taken back to basics and started over more gently once in a permanent home.
