What a wonderful day.

First if all my old horse is being pts today, but my YO just decided to shout at me to 'get out or you can get off my yard' because I DARED to ask when I could turn my horse out, got given the go ahead by the other YO only to have her ring back and retract it 2 mins later (after he was then put out) and tell me to speak to the other one, who called me a liar and told me to get out.

Sorry, not much point to this post really, I am just really upset, as if losing Bunny wasn't enough :(

worst thing is I'm always so bloody polite to them, even if they're constantly so damn rude to me!!!

So sorry to hear about your horse. I hope everything goes as well as it can possibly go.

but with rude people Its always the way. If im having a bad day i nearly always find myself saying something loudly back ''oh dont worry-i love having a door slammed on my childs feet/standing around holding the door for rude people''. Sometimes it works and shames them into a thanks or an apology. Maybe it would be worth going into your YO's office and saying 'look the way you treated me this morning was bang out of order'.

I feel bad for you. Do you want me to go round to the yard and smash their face in? I will if you really want me to...... well, might take a while to get there but I would if I could.

Really sorry to hear about your old horse being PTS today. [hugs]

As for the rude YO.... honestly, I find the more 'polite' and 'accommodating' you with these sorts of people the more rude they continue to be. I'm the same as you, polite 99.9% of the time. Then VERY occassionally someone will catch me on a wrong-un and I'll tell them were to go, where normally I'd always been polite. So far, in my 43 years of being on this earth I've never had a bad reaction from doing this. In fact, things rapidly improve.

Worms DO turn sometimes and it's usually a big shock for the recipient of the attack. I think some people get into the habit of being rude and forget who they're talking to half the time. It doesn't do these sorts of people any harm in getting a wake up call once in a while. Must admit, I'm a wimp and can't do it myself unless I'm in a really savage PMT'ish mood and already feeling very tetchy, but remember who's paying who on your yard. How dare they be so rude to a paying client?

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling a bit better now.

I got an apology of sorts, Whoch wasn't really an apology, and at least I can now get my horse out!!

It's normally water off a ducks back, but today I just couldn't cope :( I'm ashamed to admit I've been crying ever since, it's made losing bunny hit me so much worse- I ha thought I was dealing with it fine, but apparently not!!!

Jeeze, don't YOU be ashamed about ANYTHING girl.

Of course you feel emotional. It's those rotten people at your yard who have their heads so far up their own backsides that THEY forgot what's happening in your life today who should be ASHAMED.:mad::mad:

Sorry to hear about your horse and well done for remaining calm with the YO - had I been in that position I think I would have ended up screaming crying snotty abuse at them.

Seriously, I don't think I would care what someone did on the day their horse was being pts, I would still be nice to them. (within reason obv. )

They obviosuly live miserable lives.

Really sorry about your old horse.

I would move yards if I was spoken to like that. Well I would if I wasn't the YO. I am always very leasant and polite to my liveries, and they are back to me. However, if any one of my liveries was ever rude to me they would be given notice immediately.

Rude cow, she needs reminding who pays her wages. I'm afraid with what was going on today I'd have slapped her stupid face. Find yourself a yard with people who appreciate you and make sure you let her know exactly what you feel before you go.

So sorry for your horse.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated :) I must admit I do have to bite my Tongue EVERYTIME I see either of them- not a good situation to have my horse in :(

And yeah, he's allowed out by himself for 'up to 48 hours' before he has to go in with the others, so I'll see how sound he is tomorrow night
