Why do people think i'm mad? Would you do this.

My mare is on full livery so i didnt have to but on saturday me and the dog walked 7 miles to go see her as i couldnt get my car off the drive it was a lovely walk and took us about 1hr 45. :) even better was some friends with a land rover giving us a lift back home :)
 
You need a socking great truck with a snow plough on the front of it ;) except I have a feeling that a plough on front isn't legal in the UK.

Not mad at all, responsible, there is a difference, although, it would be mad if you were risking your own safety. You are no good to anyone, man nor beast, if you get hurt or ill, or worse. Take care.:)
 
The girl I share a yard with lives 3 miles from the yard, we are 8 miles away. Monday there was no way we could drive there in the snow and ice, so I asked her if she could do the afternoon shift (she had done the morning turn out, so could get there), but no, she couldn't, so my OH had to walk 16 miles all in!
