Why do people want to own TB's?

I have an ex-flat racer, who cost her owners a lot of money to buy & was also an expensive brood mare; she then went to a sport horse breeder & had at least one foal but things didn't work out & she found her way to me.
She's sharp, spooky & thinks she should be in charge so wouldn't be suitable for a novice but she's barefoot, lives out & is cheap to feed so she does for me!
But I wish she didn't have such a horribe mane, it's so thick I don't know what to do with it, she's got a mane like a shetland. Her previous owner hogged her & I can understand why.

Wow Lolo! Your horse looks like one of these stereotypical TB's! Psyco's that just go from standstill to jog to full pelt gallop whilst they have a leg hanging off, jumping left and right spooking at everything! I mean no TB could ever possibly be remotely sane! :D

It's the tb half of my ID x tb that I love the most

It's only the pancakes flat tb feet I could do without!

Last TB mare I had was a good doer, chilled to ride, good to catch, fabulous feet. If she didn't have her back problem which resulted in her being PTS, she would have been bloody amazing!

Because I love um!! I can go for a sensible hack, do a dressage test, go showjumping, have a fab xc ride and even let my 20 month old grandson hand feed them, they are so gentle with him, my heart melts! They have lots of "people" character and always very friendly. I can jump up bareback in the field and they don't bat an eyelid..........thats why I own TBs!
