I keep my horse at a friend of my sister in laws house.
I spoke to her on the phone earlier and she said that she had, had a cuddle with him over the gate. Bothered me slightly as to why people were fussing with my horse without me being there but let it go.
I arrive at yard, said family memebr is still there with her 2 children in tow 1 5yr old girl who has had 4 lessons recently and is pony mad and her 7yr old sun who isn't interested.
Firstly i went to get my boy in who barged bk through the gate and into the feild twice which is very unusual for him, put this down to fact he could hear children playing in the garden but couldn't see them, told him to stop being a wally and eventually got him in.
He was jumpy on the yard whilst eating, then i hear "aunty" was my neice asked her to stay at the top of the yard as my horse (who is a med weight 15.2hh rising 2 year old) was being skitty.
She stayed talking to me from the top of the yard (waving her teddy around as she did so) fine ok..then my sis in law walked onto yard (in flip flops) went to stroke him n he jumped so i told her to leave him "no he's alright" so i bit my tolgue, then nephew walked down "throwing ball in air and catching it as he goes) ...i could see horse gettin more and more wound up then ball was kicked behind him and he shot bk. At this point i got ratty and shouted "BE CAREFULL" as i didn't want anyone (including myself as it was ME who had to noow lead this coiled spring back to the feild) gettin hurt to which his mother replied "oh it'll do him (my horse) good"!!! how will it bl****y do him good???
he is normal a very level headed chilled out baby i see no need in upsetting him!!
so at this point i muttered something about how i wasn't in mood for kids and horses today (i'm in alot of pain at the mo with a condition i'm being treated for) and stormed off with my horse to turn him out.
got home and sent txt asking next time to listen to me and to talk to her shildren about being safe around horses but really!!!
if it was anyone else and they had told her to stay away she would have done so n half of me wishes she had of got trampled on to prove my point but she would have only have blamed it on horse classed him and unsafe!!
