I really wish i had pictures of Whisper after i bathed him on Saturday and then he found a surprisingly similar muddy patch and proceeded to turn himself from grey, to bay......x

Saves on fly spray!

Ours dug a mud hole next to the water trough (which leaks a little bit) and when I say hole I mean three feet across and a foot deep.

They did a very neat job, but there is a front shoe in there somewhere

I'll come and clean him for you!

I love grooming - there's nothing more satisfying than getting a filthy muddy horse and making them shine. Especially since I haven't got my own horse, so I don't have to do it often enough to get bored of it.

They are talented little mud monsters, aren't they?

I think its so important for a horse to be relaxed and having a muddy dig and roll does just that. Isn't it worth it?
