Why do horses always have to do the opposite of what you want them to do?
Our schooling has been going really well recently and horse working really nice so thought would attempt a couple of prelim dressage tests at riding club. Hacked down there which took about half an hour and then went to work in. He was so strong and bucking in canter when working in but then in the tests went completely the other way and was so lazy that we lost all implusion and kept losing the contact.
Is there any way that i could work on this? We got some pretty harsh comments on our sheets about him being lazy. Got 58% in one and 65% in the other and still ended up last and almost last in our classes.
Am so disappointed and has put me off attempting any more.
