Yard owners where do you get your hay for your yards in northern Ireland? Is it worth it to include it in your set price for livery or is it better to have your liverys bring there own?
I have a hay man for the home minis. He sources hay and delivers it yearly. My livery yard owner collects hay bales for summer herself as little is needed. She makes her own haylage. It’s included in the livery price. Bringing your own can be a pain unless you have massive amounts of storage and security to avoid people “borrowing” others.
