Birker, we've tried that...he just stands and looks at us as though we lost the plot ?‍♀️
No he's not a rig. Apart from the nippy/bitey performance he is fine. He's lived with mares, stallions and geldings and, in fairness, gets on well with everyone...no bother whatsoever.
I do wonder if, at some point in his life, he's been over spoilt and allowed to get away with this kind of thing..???
I cannot say this enough, he's a plague and a nuisance but there isn't an ounce of actual malice in any of his behaviour. He can be so sweet but then just can't help himself ??

As i’ve already said, mine is eve
I'd say yes, he wasn't stopped at the right point in time in the right way. I think it would be very difficult to fix now, not your fault.

As I’ve already posted above, mine is similar (although he doesn’t bite me, he’s very ‘bitey’ to the other horses) and was really nippy for the first year that I owned him at 3 having only recently been gelded. He was bought from travellers at 18 months and his next home definitely didn’t spoil him. I’m guessing quite the opposite, he probably got a slap if he bit anyone.
