I can't believe that another top horse has had to be put down, I am referring to Zara's great Mare Tsunami II, I was reading about it today in the horse and hound, I can't believe that Tsunami II still got up and walked away even though she had broken her kneck. I would like to send my thoughts to Zara, her team and the owners of Tsunami II ( I hope you have lots of fun in horsey heaven) xx

It is horrible to hear things like this.

It is so sad but so is every fatal accident. It makes life seem so unfair. However she would have been having the time of her life with adrenaline pumping through her body, she probably didnt even feel it thank god.

TBH I thought her name was a little fated Tsunami. A friend of mine was killed in the Tsunami, theres no way I would call my horse that!

Whats in a name though, I guess!

Ask crazydaisy about horses with a broken neck, Chester is alive and kicking and looking stunning although he has one. Every case is different, but lots of people would have given up where Chester's owners did an amazing job.
Firewell, i'm a firm believer in the fate of names, and am VERY careful when naming!
