Why does my dog have an abnormally hot forehead and been twitching??

She has had a very hot forehead today but when I checked 10 minutes later it was normal? I was shocked to feel it had changed so much as it was very hot!
Also over the past few weeks she does little head shakes/twitches and doesnt seem to realise we are calling for her to concentrate on us.
Im rather worried... I will be taking her to the vet asap, I would just like to know if anyone else has been through this?

Could be allergy, ear mites, yeast infection in the ears (common in this weather!) pop her to the vets for drops etc if you are worried.
