Why does my horse have a wrinkly bottom?

Particularly evident in this photo:- http://www.equiscot.com/photo14280944.html
(which I have bought).

Is this due to dehydration (he is very poor at drinking in his stable or generally from a bucket). Or has his skin stretched from being fatter in the past (he is leaner than he has been for a while, and I think looks good at current weight, though could do with more muscle). Or is it normal? (I can't find any other wrinkly pictures of other horses, though have a quite a few wrinkly ones of him - this being the worst yet!).

At recent physio it was commented that his back end is far less muscled than the front - this is something that I will be working on (though also due to his conformation).

As long as it doesn't look like that when he's just standing, I would say it was normal and absolutely nothing to worry about.

Perfectly normal ;)

Not the best photo (I look horrific) but you can see his wrinkly bum :D

I have to confess that I thought so too! :)

It was a genuine question, mind you - but I did expect slightly ruder answers!

Sisters big mare has a wrinkley bum, it gets worse as she looses weight (which she still needs to do ) We have decided that this is because the mare is a fat lass (possibly from Barnsley) who wears too tight leggings, not a long enough jumper and is running for a bus :D :D :D :D
