Why don't I have a nice, dry hobby?

 Sorry if I've just dripped water all over the Forum. I'll mop it up when I've had a shower.... *wanders soggily off*

Uuugh I've just dripped everywhere too. Been out coaxing reluctant horse to eat her pills

'Nah, I'd rather not, I'd prefer to chew the fence thanks' .
'Yeah but I've just trailed over and bought you lovely lovely Speedi Beet' I cooed desperately.
'Dont like it.....I'd prefer the post and rails' :(

Eventually persuaded her, then drooped and dripped my way round the poo patrol, mended fence with more bailer twine ... etc

Because we adore these fabulous beasts.

Beside what would we complain about without them. Sitting in a nice clean warm home, not smelling of horses and not having to go out an do it all again would be too boring.
Who wants to have loads more money and a life anyway.

Sorry but that made me giggle :D

Reminds me of yesterday, sitting in the car watching D1's lesson on the Dizz. Instructor stood in middle of school (at least I think she was, hard to see in the driving rain, etc. lol). She suddenly realised the trees to the side offered a dry spot so hot hoofed it over there :D.

Same lesson. D and I watching D1 in the driving rain, howling wind, etc. etc. etc. I turned to D and said "I wonder why D1 isn't wearing a waterproof jacket, or chaps, or anything really that might keep her in the slightest bit dry....??!!". Why do I bother buying them?

Urgh it was horrid. Having a nice day inside now after working outside yesterday!

I was at work and had to hack out the welshie whilst leading another one...skiing down the hills and trotting/cantering in the horizontal rain with my eyes closed to get home faster! Also trying to take boss' 4 year old out in it to teach her it's ok to be out in bad weather, she was a very good girl none the less.....not fun :(

Was also out poo picking a huge field of 5 big mares that hasn't been done for a week :(

My waterproofs gave up being waterproof after a while!
