thankyou friends

I know I don't see eye to eye with some members but in times of sadness we all go through the same thing.

hugs to all those who lost a pet today and any other day .

I have chosen the cat casket as she always lay in a ball so many times.
just came back from vets balling my eyes out again
vet thinks she was struck on the side.
was so hard to leave her knowing i wont see her again

oh no I am so sorry for your loss. :(
I know how you feel I lost my cat a few months ago, she was my little baby and I will always miss her.

My thoughts are with you x

Sorry to hear about your beautiful puss.:(

I too know how it feels, having lost 4 cats over the years to this, the most recent being in April 2011, thanks to some smarta**es speeding up our street (despite it being a no through road).Still miss him now.:(

thankyou again.

I lost my first cat at mums in the 80's he was called Tizzy.

Why do people have to speed just to get to office 10 mins earlier.

Haven't eaten anything all day just can't eat.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your little cat. I hate seeing a dead animal on the road, especially if it is someone's pet, then I know someone that day will be heartbroken. I wish people would be more careful, it doesn't take much off your journey time, just to slow down. I know your heart is breaking and I really feel for you (((hugs)))
RIP little puss, sleep well xx

So sorry for you. Know just how you feel. Our first little cat was just a year old. came home to see her lieing in the road. Neighbour said woman who ran her over got out of car to see if she was dead and just left her there. Couldn't even put her to side of the road. Got 2 cats to replace her and some idiot ran one of them and next doors cat over at the same time. Next doors cat just lay outside her house and died and our cat was found 2 days later in the hedge. We were devasted.

So sorry about your cat. Has happened to us a few times as well. I found a cat which had been hit by a car on my way to work earlier this week. Another motorist and I stopped the traffic and moved it onto the verge (no houses near by). Was thinking all day about it's owner and how heart broken they would be.

RIP lil puss, and take care of yourself as well- easier said than done I know.

x

thankyou everyone for your kind words

just cant stop crying We had an amazing bond she never put her claws out always greeted me lying on my feet when she saw me.

my heart has been ripped apart:(

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss :(
R.I.P Kassie xxx

Her casket sounds lovely.
My cat, Cara, passed away aged 19 years old. She is still here with me, in a carved wooden sleeping cat casket.
I also have my foal here with me, his ashes are in a wicker basket.

The loss of a much loved pet is very traumatic. The pain felt is equal to the loss of a human friend/family member. Take time to grieve for her.

I hope the b**t**d who hit her gets their comeuppance some day .

(((((HUGS))))) Leviathan :).

Its not nice when any loved creature be it human or animal etc is taken away too early but I reserve judgement on the driver until I know the facts of how this happened

If driver was doing a legal safe 30 in a 30 limit for example and the cat was in the road and to avoid would have the potential to cause another incident then I do not see how the speed issue can be used
