Why don't TBs in training do stud duties as well?

Thinking about super star Frankle, and the decision to keep him in training for next year.

There is always a risk factor in this - doesn't train on, injuries, etc. so I wondered if any successful TBs cover any mares while they are still racing? I know that TB breeding doesn't allow AI, but other breed stallions do stud duties and are in training for various activities.
Anyone know?

A stallion called Environment Friend did in the 1990s. A lovely grey Eclipse winner, IIRC.

I suppose it's a combination of value and insurance, but also a lot of horses don't have the temperament for doing both jobs at once. Seem to recall reading that Nashwan clocked his first loss after spending the night before whinnying at a filly in the same stable block :)
