Thanks ester that was astounding! The man is incredible but the Franche Montagne horses are even better! I’d never heard of the breed and I think I’m in love ?

Not to take anything away from it I did wonder if the horses at the front might be following the quad/buggy in front as much as anything. I suspect the steering was more important for those after the leaders not to cut the corners.

I really wanted them to go all the way round the roundabout though.

First thought: Wowee
Second thought: Wish I could understand what he was saying
Third thought: Wouldn't want to meet that lot whilst out for a hack

That worked, thankyou. 360m of driving reins, blimey. Fascinating to hear more about how it came about. The horses are really beautiful and seem to have good temperaments.

That’s phenomenal! I remember seeing the Budweiser Clydesdale hitch of about 12 in Florida when I was a kid.

Knowing next to nothing about driving, is it actually possible for 1 person to be completely in control of 20 horses, or do you think much of it is in that little buggy at the front/people on foot? Also how do you decide what position to put each horse in, bar the leaders & the wheelers?
