I think one of the things people have a tendancy to forget when it comes to horses is that every horse, horse owner/trainer/rider etc and every circumstance is different. This generally means that it's very difficult to do things 'by the book' as it were. Methods need to be adapted to the situation. I've always felt there's some very useful ideas and information passed around on this forum and I take from it what I feel will be best for me. If I don't think it will work that particular time doesn't mean it won't work another. There's no point in taking offence
