Molly has always been the 'boss' of her little group (just the 3 of them and they live out 24/7).
We got a new horse on loan in August and he knocked Moll down a peg or 2, much to her disgust
The loan didn't work out and he returned to his owner a couple of weeks ago. Molly promptly turned into the Wicked Witch of the West  Really bullying the other 2 horses in an "i'm the boss again" kind of way, and refusing point blank to be caught!
She literally trots towards me, then lunges herself around me, ears pinned back the whole time, as if to say "haha, you can't catch me"! Once she decides that she will allow me to catch her, she is an absolute angel  I just dont understand where this teenage tantrum attitude has come from! I've owned her since she was 3, and she's nearly 14 now. She's never been the 'come-to-call' type, but this is just rediculous! I never let her 'win', but i'm sick of wasting so much potential-riding time running around the field (which is on a hill and makes me tired! :o :) )
Any ideas how on to change her back, before i start launching missiles at her?! :D

Sadly my pony turned in to a monster in the field with other horses whilst out on loan. It took a lot of time to change him back, and he is still much worse than he used to be!
I would be tempted to put her in a sectioned off bitofthefield if poss, andse if that works. My pony did have things thrown at him if I caught him attacking one of the others though!

Well have to sympathise as my Arab mare being a nightmare since my other horse was PTS last week, she is being a total witch to the other ponies but a sweetheart-as normal-once I catch her and super to ride. Think she fancies being the boss, and she is now the biggest.
