Why hasn't my H&H arrived??

Not had mine either, we've escaped the worst of the snow and had no delays in post, apart from HHO.:mad: Would be nice if HH could perhaps post something explaining the delay.
 
I'm pleased I posted this as I hope someone from IPC/H&H notes all the comments made on this thread. I agree, it's totally unacceptable that when you pay an annual subscription, you should receive your weekly copy, unless there are very extreme circumstances!

Maybe IPC would care to respond to this!
 
It depends where the Magazines' printer/Mailing House is, to a large degree as various parts of Royal Mail's distribution is still way behind or struggling due to the weather. If you look at this: www.royalmail.com/serviceupdates it will tell you which areas of the country there are problems in still.

Whilst the distribution to retailers may be OK... , from a postal point of view it's join the queue.... especially with the Christmas rush. That's why shops have got the mag, but not us subscribers.
 
Mine hasnt arrived either, I saw it in our local shop so have bought one anyway ,I will give my spare one away when it arrives ,it seems to be a bit thin this week ,the usual run up to Christmas I suppose .
 
Snap I,ve not had mine either on the whole I get mine o/k maybe the odd friday but not to turn up friday is pain. Plenty of bills have got through though!!
 
Mine never comes on time either :( missed out on a horse i wanted to buy because of it too :( I have complained but they are now getting sniffy about replacing missing copies as there have been so many :(
Best bit was i cancelled by phone, followed up with an email and 2 months later they helped themselves from my bank account :mad: i've complained to my bank and they think i may have to close my account to stop them :mad:
 
But it's not necessarily where you are based that affects your mail. It's where the magazine is coming FROM. It may have to pass through all those areas that are snarled up with the snow.
 
Don't balme H&H the post is in a shocking state atm. I think its a combination of xmas, snow preventing deliveries which resulted in a huge backlog and lots of people ordering stuff on the web because they couldn't get to the shops.

We sent 30 odd parcels out last week, some 1st class recorded royal mail, some special delivery royal mail and some parcelforce 48 guaranteed service. Not s single one arrived in under a week :(
 
Not had ours yet but have had a quick "read" in a shop to see what is in it. I used to subscribe to another monthly mag and it didn't turn up one month and they wouldn't send another so that subscription wasn't renewed. With H & H if one week's didn't arrive then wouldn't be that bothered as with a weekly mag odds are that will happen at some point but with an expensive monthly mag, was not impressed by their customer service.
 
Saturday and mine still hasn't arrived either. It's been on time so far exccept once, when it came on Friday. It's been on time the last couple of weeks when the weather was a lot worse, it's cleared up now so I thought it would be here by today. I tried to ring up about it but eventually (after several 'menus') was told they are only open 8.30 - 5 (I think) Mon - Fri!

It would be handy, as has been said, if someone from H&H (or whoever sends the magazines out for them) would take the trouble to reply - or better yet, come straight here and let us know if there is a problem ..... Or as has also been said, might be the post .... Be handy to know what's going on ....
 
Still don't have mine.....feel quite lost actually...how sad am I?!?!
All my other post has arrived as normal so it does seem quite odd really as I have never had a problem before.
 
I havn't had mine yet either. It has never been this late before. All other post getting through fine, so I am also at a bit of a loss as to why H&H hasn't come.
 
Once upon a time my copy would arrive every Wed without fail. For the past few months it has been turning up on a Friday with the occasional delay until Sat or even Mon! Can't blame it all on the snow. Think they're def becoming more complacent about it...
 
I had three issues in a row not turn up earlier this year :mad:

Called H&H - they said my address had been marked as "undeliverable" by Royal Mail. Asked how that could possibly have been true as I'd still been receiving all my mail as normal :confused: Asked why I wasn't alerted and was told "oh we wait for the subscribers to call us, we don't alert them about delivery problems"

Subscription was extended to cover the lost issues and as I'd missed the Badminton issue I was kindly given a phone number to call to order "back-dated" issues! :mad: No complimentary copies for me....

I've cancelled it. It's a shame but it's been more hassle than it's worth!
 
Looks like I shall have to give the subscriptions dept. a call tomorrow as last week's issue has STILL not arrived!

If I write something abusive on here, maybe someone at H&H will notice this thread.......but then again.............
