Why hasn't my H&H arrived??

Speaking as an 'insider', you may find that a majority of the problem lies with Royal Mail. The new working agreement bought in after the last wave of strikes meant that we would get longer deliveries and work in pairs. Great if you work with someone who works fast, crap if you dont. The delivery office where my H&H is delivered from started this new working practice about 6 weeks ago and since then I get H&H any time from fri to sat and I just got mine today ! A third of the work force took voluntary redundancy (in my office it will be 30 going from 100) so therefore there are less staff to sort the work hence late deliveries. Live mail - first class stamped / franked will take priority and as there are not enough staff to sort, it gets pushed back further and further until the 'light days' - monday, tues and sat. most catalogues / brochures are sent out thurs / fri as the companies think you will sit and read them over the weekend. Sadly it will only get worse before it better.... I need a new job !!!!!!
 
Message on their facebook :

"We are getting many reports of H&H being delayed in the post this week. Please accept our apologies if you haven't received your issue, but we can confirm that they were dispatched from our print house as normal. The issue appears to be with Royal Mail."
 
Mine hasn't arrived either - no snow here for days - I blame Postman Pat or the lack of him really. I often get mail for a similar lane whereas I live in a road - but that lane is in the next village ..... in the age of satnavs ...... you just can't get the staff!
