Why I bought my new horse!

Thanks guys

Lisa she is called Lanjagold (Porridge at home) - she is by Lancer III and was bred by Paul Schockemöhle and has some rather decent siblings

Will vid me on her this weekend, even if I have to prop the camera up LOL!

She is really my sort - Not surprised she was bred by Paul S - as my one bred by him has the same back end and scope! Go out and have fun! as I am sure you will!

Thanks Debs! You can ride her when you come up

Show me how it's done LOL!!

vic07 - which one of yours is from there?

To everyone else - THANKS! As soon as my trailer arrives I am out there!!!!!!

Noooo that isn't me, its the woman that I had my lesson with today - I totally forgot to ask her to take any of me

She is shorter than me tho - those stirrups in the first pic are my jumping length hehe!!!

Will get some of me tomorrow or Sunday - PROMISE, I am desperate to jump her again!

I've actually got three by Lauriston. a 14yo, who went intermediate be, and a 2yo and 3yo. They are fantastic! I hope you have as much fun on her as I have had on mine. She would also have lovely babies! Ooops!

Oh wow, hope I do indeed have that much fun! Its funny as until you start jumping her people say "oh she is a nice horse" but there is no WOW - then you jump and people sit up and take notice LOL

B is like that - Looks like a cobby pony and then brings an arena to life! Has so much ping. - I am hoping his half brother and sister are the same. It is funny but the foals' mother was owned by PS's PA.

Its that horse landgraf. he is also B's paternal grandsire! He was a bit prolific. He has really stamped the stock down the line!

Cool!! What a gorgeous girlie!
Have not seen you ride for ageeees. (sorry - edited to say have realised is not you).
She looks like she makes a great shape over a fence, nice and level in front.

My little TB has a similar "back end" and I thought that perhaps some gridwork would get her to bend her back legs and her bum wouldn't have to go so high (photos in gallery from last Sat). But if you think it's OK then I'll stop worying about it.

She looks very smart as well, have you been doing a bit of "trimming"!!

Fiona

I would stop worrying about it, but will go have a look LOL! I love big back ends

I will do some filming of me this weekend - you know how it is! I didn't even remember I had my camera until I was off her back!

Might just clip her right out this weekend and be done with it as the two tone really doesn't show her off well at all

Fact is though, she doesn't even break into a sweat and I hate taking off hair for the sake of it! I think she has really changed already though - shows what a good exercise regime can do!

Think how fed up you will be in a month's time when she is shedding bucketloads of hair each time you groom her. Would also be tempted to take it all off (leave her legs though if you are planning any hunting).

Any luck on a trailer yet?

Fiona

Hoping to get a hunt in at some point! Think I will bite the bullet and get it all off, she will look so much better and one day with hair up my nose is better than weeks! Trailer is being delivered next week WOOHOOO!!
