I feel the cobs need a bit of love, or there gonna get more lazy and fat through comfort eating ;) :p

Ive got two ponies .. a cobby welsh d x and a Fine welsh a :)

The welsh a is naughty, highly strung, cheeky, bolshy, prancy and when shes on her spook at everything mode, you cant enjoy being around her ..

The welsh d x is sweet, loving, careful of you, doesnt barge, or ever try to hurt you and she doesnt hurt you by accident, shes a joy to handle 99.9% of the time ..

I used to look after a d/wb and my confidence was beaten to a pulp litterally. I was barged into gates, run over, bitten kicked and she was the biggest cow going :p

BUT ..

I dont think you can completly judge a horse by its breed, theres a cob at work who is a complete nonce .. and is worse than your typical arab, tb and wb put together :p

But i think the *MAJORITY* of cobs i would rather own than a finer horse :)

P.s Dont diss my cobby ;)

I dont like cobs................I LOVE cobs!!

I have a traditional Irish Coloured cob who's as gentle as they come on the ground, on his back he is anything but a plod!
A friend at the yard also has a big chunky gypsey type cob, again an angel on the ground but boy can her boy go some, I have rarely seen a horse shift at his speed, he can go pace for pace against a 17.2hh TB at my yard flat out and it is some sight to see.

I've also got a Welsh Section D, just a baby but she's a charachter and a half.

Also have a sports pony and a sports horse, and I have to say, as wonderful as they both are in their own ways, I prefer my cobs.

I just love big manes and lots of feathers, and they are such good fun.

This is my Billy, my handsome lad:

I with you on this one :)
I have only ever had cobs. They are so good to be around & mine wouldn't hurt you at all.
But mine are quite lazy :P
