Why is everyone laughing at me?

I bought Oliver out wearing his beautiful new numnah this weekend and everyone started to laugh! My instructor said that I shouldn't take him off the yard wearing "that thing" and the vet asked if I'd "made it myself" and that he thought it would look nice as a bedspread!! I have had numerous other "kind" comments but me and Ollie are still sticking to our story - that he is a handsome chap and everyone else must be jealous.

Yes, it is the Joules one. I think they have sold out now so it can't just have been me that bought one!!

I also got him a lovely pink, blue and lilac checked Masta fleece last week and the yard manager asked me why I had now started dressing Oliver as a Battenburg cake. Cheeky sod!

Hmm it would definately look good as a bedspread! I think it'd look even better on my grey mare... poor boy being dressed up all girly, you'll give him a complex! I like it though!

Not sure if I would make a little boy wear pink to be honest. Fortunately I had a little girl so never actually had to test myself there!!

I like it, but I can see why old fashioned horse people dont. Coloured numnans used to be deemed as very common years ago and it was a complete no no in my area.

Times have changed and products moved on, I would tell them to get modern.

Mmmm, they are all nice. I have just bought a couple of rugs, a headcollar and some other bits at Tesco Direct though so I'm going to have to wait a bit longer before I get anything else.

I bought some haylege nets from Tesco Direct and they are like sleeping bag holders

They are tiny! I bought some rug bags too and they are brill

and a leather headcollar which is lovely too

Oooh then I went out the other day and got a Masta Summer rug for £25

and it is aubergine and gorgeous!
