Why is it so hard or am i being silly?

Am sat here in tears writing this post as have just put an ad online to sell my mare....might sound silly to a lot of you i know but why is it so heartbreaking to make this decison?

I have already decided that if i don't get any "nice" people looking at her then i will not just sell her to anyone as it really worries me where she will end up.

Has anyone else ever felt like this or am i just being too soppy?

Yes. I did and thought no one would love them as much. In each case I was wrong, they have fantastic homes and owners who are totally perfect for them.Even years later, they send me updates regularly.
I hope you find the same for your mare. Good people are out there.
