Why is it when you are broke you need lots of things?

Feeling a bit broke as just bought the new pony and of course loads of things need money!!

Realised my hat is way past its best.
Finally had the bill for baling my hay in August!
Running low on hard feed.
New pony needs saddle and jabs next month!!
Oh and a gatepost has just died!!

Roll on pay day.
 
I feel your pain! October brings hock injections/ sedation for clipping, saddler, dentist, water treadmill has just begun. Eughh...
 
agreed. Everything runs out or needs paying at same time!

This week I've had to buy monthly train ticket, 3 bags feed, oil, joint supplement (although lasts 3 months - it just picks to finish when other things to buy), vet bill, textbooks & folders for uni, 2 birthday presents and a baby gift. Plus my Physio reg. Oh and the farrier is coming on friday so that's another 70...

And it's only Wednesday :(
 
And normally coincides with the car needing its service, MOT and tax! Somehow, I've accidentally acquired a second horse. Just coming into winter - hmmm. (Wasn't planned, but the best ones never are, I don't think :D)
 
I feel your pain!
This month my box has had it's MOT done, luckily nothing wrong and flew through...phew!
This week, farrier, dentist and chiro for my new mare. Also need to order my hay in for winter, and think about restarting the mares vaccinations! Always a pain when I always kept my old mare up to date with everything. Now the new one needs it all done....horses hey! I need a lottery win!
 
I feel your pain - Suddenly my pony needs physio, teeth, shoes and a new saddle/bridle, I need a new hat and we've just bought a new house! So I'm having to save for it all 😂
 
I also feel your pain 😔, just ordered winter hay in, have an ever growing list of things that need doing/buying, car goes on for its MOT next month (I think), fixing a fence my boy broke, stocking up on winter feed as well as a new rug storage box as the wind ripped the lid off of my less than a month old one the other week 😭 and I still need to find a nice rain sheet I like cause once again he's grown out of last years rugs. Roll on Friday 😂
