that you're horse can rip a shoe off and wander about quite happily with it off for a week or so waiting on the farrier but as soon as he gets sparkly set of new shoes on he decides he's "bridle" lame. I'm convinced everyone at my yard thinks I'm nuts but last night let one of the instructors sit on him who agreed that whilst he didn't look lame from the ground he felt "wonky" in the saddle.
